Hotstart has an opening for a Receiving Team Lead within our Materials Department at our headquarters in Spokane, WA. This position will lead and support the Receiving and Materials teams, allocating, guiding, and directing departmental personnel. The lead will act as the departmental representative in projects, meetings and other required cross functional objectives. The lead will actively assist in resolving vendor receipt discrepancies, maintaining and updating ERP storage locations, performing inventory adjustments as needed, and conducting research and providing root cause of inventory inaccuracies. When required, this position will also assist in other areas of material handling including water striding, material distribution, and receiving.
Primary Responsibilities: Directing, supporting, and prioritizing the daily work requirements of the materials team
Working cross functionally with internal and external customers
Working closely with other department leads to determine daily workload requirements and identifying capacity issues
Perform and complete part requests and returns
Complete inventory counts and adjustments
Accurately and efficiently organize and maintain warehouse locations (including locations in Production areas and off-site warehouses)
Proactively assist in the storing, transferring, and staging of materials moving between the main warehouse and the off-site warehouse
Assist with the distribution of received materials and materials from QA to the proper locations
Qualifications: Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills
Strong and courteous communication skills
Ability to prioritize and communicate expectations
Prompt and reliable
Ability to work in high stress situations
Attention to detail a must
Able to handle feedback and constructive criticism well
Knowledge of inventory flow
Ability to operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other tools and equipment to move materials
Able to lift 50 lbs.
