Construction Manager (Telecom)

The Project Manager for the OSPC residential program will be responsible for the planning, organizing, and tracking of program activities. Facilitate a cross-functional team to execute on defined deliverables to support and drive key decisions. Uses industry recognized/generally accepted Project Management knowledge, skills, and techniques to achieve a project’s stated objectives.

In this role you will be responsible for providing data driven insights and analytical support for key projects, programs, and initiatives with customer experience operations. Applies critical thinking, problem solving, data visualization techniques, and analytical acumen to develop and deliver reporting analysis and recommendations that support decision making and deliver business insights. Produce and develop project management data and verification while supporting strategies for the success of the overall program/portfolio as well as individual projects you serve. Building successful relationships will be important to your ongoing success.

Major Tasks

· Works with business partners and stakeholders across multiple portfolios to understand primary strategy, objectives, and priorities; helps connect these goals with underlying data and delivers insight driven analysis.

· May lead project calls and working sessions to support program/portfolio initiatives.

· Effectively translate complex data driven analysis into clear, meaningful, and actionable findings; provide relevant solutions and recommendations.

· Participates in collaborative, cross functional initiatives, and projects; provides thought leadership on data requirements and scope of analysis necessary to support decision making and deliver business insights.

· Effectively utilizes tools, techniques, and processes to gather, report and analyze data, including SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Sitetracker, Remedy and other data mining, preparation, and visualization tools.

· Design, develop, implement, and maintain Sitetracker dashboards and reporting supporting multiple program/portfolios.

· Identifies, researches, and resolves discrepancies in analytical processes or cross functional methods.

· Analyzes current and historic performances, performs varies analyses of key metrics and identifies trends.

· Creates scenario models to assist the business in complex decision making and forecasting outcomes.

· Solicits feedback and continuous learning opportunities to expand knowledge and capabilities, related tools, techniques, relevant data analytics principles and methods required to perform operational analysis.

· Meet established timelines and committed tasks and communicate any risks, issues, or challenges in meeting deliverables.

· Reports on project progress throughout the project lifecycle, including the ability to forecast.

· Support medium/large and/or moderately complex projects under moderate to minimal supervision

· Able to work independently or as part of a team to solve larger issues or mitigate ongoing risks or process gaps.

· May set and manage expectations, managing and escalating issues and changes.

· Builds relationships with key stakeholders and project resources to drive key decisions and ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications Required

· 3 years of experience in related field (i.e. project management, data analytics, data mining and analyzing) or academic equivalent training or projects.

· Requires working knowledge of functional or related processes.

· Demonstrate problem solving and analytical thinking skills.

· Ability to work within multiple tools and systems such as Sitetracker, Salesforce, WATTS, Remedy, Tableau and Power BI

Preferred

· BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred

· Experience in telecommunications industry desired

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $42.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Experience:

Data analysis: 1 year (Preferred)

Tableau and Power BI: 1 year (Preferred)

WATTS and Remedy: 1 year (Preferred)

Sitetracker: 1 year (Preferred)

Salesforce: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

San Diego, CA: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in San Diego, CA
