Responsibilities:
Lead and manage civil and site development projects from conception through completion, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
Develop and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and participate in business development efforts to drive growth in Indiana's private development sector.
Oversee project teams, including engineers, designers, and support staff, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design and planning of various civil engineering projects, including site development, infrastructure, and land use planning.
Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments as necessary to ensure project feasibility and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Mentor and coach junior staff members, fostering their professional development and growth within the company.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic plans, establish goals, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the firm.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Indiana or ability to obtain licensure within six months.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil/site engineering, with a focus on private development projects.
Proven track record of successful project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and client management.
Strong business development skills with a demonstrated ability to cultivate client relationships and identify new opportunities for growth.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
