LEE + RO is an established design engineering and consulting firm with 45 years of experience solving some of California’s most complex water and wastewater infrastructure challenges. The company has open positions for entry-level civil engineers specializing in wastewater infrastructure projects in our Walnut Creek (Northern CA) and City of Industry (Los Angeles County headquarters) offices.
The ideal candidates are those who enjoy problem-solving and can work through technical challenges to employ pragmatic solutions while embodying a willingness to learn and develop new skills. You must be a self-motivated, detail- and achievement-oriented engineer with a solid understanding of civil fundamentals to provide engineering support to our project managers. The selected candidates will perform a variety of tasks depending upon the candidate’s qualifications. Effective communication (verbally and written) in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Preparation of engineering and technical reports
Preparation of construction plans and specifications
Design coordination with structural and electrical engineers
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering
Internship experience in one or more of the following areas: Water and wastewater treatment plants
Wastewater, recycled water, and/or stormwater pump stations
Water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance facilities
Water storage tanks/reservoirs/flow control facilities
Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills.
SALARIES AND BENEFITS
