As a Software Tester with FTI, your development activities at the CyberOperations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competenciesto implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, thisprogram office personifies DevSecOps which automates the integration ofsecurity at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initialdesign, through integration, testing, deployment, and softwaredelivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensivecyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems.
Responsibilities
Analyze test results and coordinate with the development teams for bug fixes.Analyze the underlying causes of performance issues and provide correctiveaction.Develop an automated test scenario and environment for performance testing.Review and recommend improvements in existing test procedures.Coordination with the testing team to develop performance test plans andcases.Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE etc.Must be able to validate xml and json body using json parser.Know how to use the OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms.Must be able to Load and Security testing on web services.Designing and developing test automation scripts to create, enhance,debug, and run test cases.Using test automation guidelines.Researching issues in software through testing to validate feedback,response time, & error code.
Education/Qualifications
Required Skills:Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active SECRET clearance. A Top Secret(TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, datascience, software development or STEM related specialty and 10 years'releated professional experience; Or Master's degree in computerscience, software engineering, data science, software development, orSTEM related specialty and 8 years' related professional experience.Experience with at least two of following programming languages: Java,Angular, Gitlab, RHEL, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr & PythonExperience or knowledge in the following Areas: Agile methodologies, agileproject management, software development life cycle management,program/project management, cross-functional team, agile softwaretesting, test-driven development, software test planning, software testautomatDesired Skills:Familiarity & knowledge:SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL),Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL.Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command.Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office.Experience with DoD/ defense software factories.SAFe for Teams, Agile Technical Tester, & Implementing Test ProcessImprovement certifications within 12 months of start dateFor this role, the compensation range for candidates in Colorado is($160K- $200K) . Note: Starting pay will be based on a number offactors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
