Job Title : Returns Lead - Warehouse

Location : Denver, CO

Pay Range : $20.28 - $30.42/hour

Hours : 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday

This position will remain open until 4/12/2024, or until the position is filled, whichever is later.

Brief Position Summary:

This position is responsible for leading the operations of a specific location's Returns department, ensuring excellent customer service and accurate handling of returns. This includes prioritizing, delegating, and performing the various functions of the returns department. This position will also collaborate with the Regional Returns Manager to provide ongoing training and support to the returns associates.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Primary:

Work in conjunction with the Regional Returns Manager to communicate job expectations, delegate responsibilities, provide ongoing training, and encourage interdepartmental teamwork

Accurately and effectively research purchase order discrepancies

Oversee the handling, inspecting, and processing of returned products through writing Return Merchandise (RM) orders to ensure accuracy and exceptional customer service

Determine if product should be received and put away back into inventory, returned to vendor, or disposed of using proper coding

Request Return Goods Authorization (RGA) and work directly with Vendors to process returns

Issue return credit as authorized to customer accounts or communicate with sales personnel and/or directly with customers for cash refunds

Handle receiving issues to include product overages and damages coordinating directly with vendors, sales, and purchasing personnel

Document and communicate status of returned product to customers, sales staff, and other stakeholders involved in the return using proper communication channels

Ensure a safe and clean work environment by ensuring compliance with Rampart's safety program and instilling a culture of safety awareness through modeling and education

As Required:

Actively educate, monitor, and adjust processes recommending measures for improvement to increase overall efficiency and productivity

Complete RF functions (put away, receiving and order picking) when needed

Compile reports on returns data

Additional duties as assigned

Education, Skills, Training, & Experience Requirements:

1-3 years of warehouse experience (returns, inventory control, receiving, etc.)

High School diploma or equivalent

Microsoft Suite experience

RF Scanner experience

Forklift certification (will obtain in position, not required upon hire)
