Role& Responsibilities :
Adhere to Greenline’s Leasing and Marketing, Managementand Operations, Maintenance, and Emergency Procedures manuals (referred toas the Operations Manuals) along with the Team Member Handbook.
Answer the phone.
Follow up with all traffic and input all informationinto the appropriate system.
Stand up and greet client.
Tour and lease apartments and sell the products andservice of the community.
Responsible for the leasing process from introductionto the actual occupancy of the resident as outlined in the OperationsManuals.
Walk apartment before move in to insure Greenlinestandards.
Prepare and complete all leasing paperwork includingthe lease.
Obtain move in keys, remote and parking permit prior toresident’s move-in date.
Respond to resident requests and help to resolveresident problems, including creating service requests.
Maintain thorough product and knowledge of thecommunity and the competition.
Know the community’s market which includes nearbybusinesses and retail, hiring trends, new construction and any otheraspects of the sub-market and overall market.
Prepare weekly and/or monthly market surveys.
Participate in resident functions and other Greenlinesponsored resident activities.
Reports to the Assistant Community Manager in theabsence of the Community Manager.
Work overtime as necessary to meet the Greenlinestandards of customer service.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required
2 years experience in apartment leasing and/or sales
Apartment leasing experience or experience in acustomer service related industry (i.e., retail sales, hospitality).
Must be able to read, write and communicate effectivelyto comprehend and complete documents, lease agreements and communicateeffectively with residents.
Demonstrate ability to apply sales skills (generatingsales leads, conducting presentations, qualifying prospects and closing).
Must have mathematical skills at high school level tocalculate prorated rents, deposits, etc.
Proficiency in using property management software(s),as well as Microsoft Office in order to complete required reports, createmarketing flyers, etc.
Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws.
National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP)preferred.
Fair Housing training preferred.
LIHTC experience preferred.
