Current Need

Currently looking for a Sr. Director of Pricing Analytics who will be responsible for overseeing Deal Modeling Transformation applications and processes, as well as analytics needs for the Pricing organization. This includes McKesson’s proprietary Product Level Pricing Model currently in development, McKesson’s existing proprietary Pricing Model, and the SFDC workflow application/process. He / She will work closely with the McKesson Technology and the Business to develop and enhance these tools in response to business requirements and evolving pricing strategies. This person will also oversee the creation of BI enabled analysis and visualizations to support business needs and executive reviews of deal pricing. The work also includes collaborating with MT on establishing correct price mark down execution in SAP/Vistex that will meet the requirements of McKesson’s business/finance leaders. Finally, this leader shall participate in the collaborations to integrate into McKesson applications Advanced Analytics and User Experience technologies and capabilities. McKesson’s has an objective to evolve our end-to-end pricing application group by leveraging these technologies to create a best-in-class tool kit and user experience.

Position Description

Provide periodic executive briefings on progress, roadblocks and recommendations.

Manage team and provide mentorship, guidance and career development opportunities.

Act as Comprehensive Pricing Transformation representative in executive meetings. Meet VP Pricing leaders and Pharma CFO to influence decision making and ensure business/pricing objectives are met.

Drive and support ERP and Business Intelligence initiatives. Act as subject matter expert to set business specifications and communicate requirements.

Develop and maintain working relationships and leadership role with Pricing, Finance professionals across Pharma organization, including Sales, McKesson Financial Center, Procurement and Generics to ensure communication of and action on significant events within the business.

Expand knowledge of Pharma operations through this dialogue in order to make recommendations and share information across the business.

Minimum Requirements

10+ years finance experience including 7+ years managerial experience

Critical Skills

Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred in finance or related field or equivalent experience

Strong financial analytics and data modeling experience

Tableau, Power BI or other BI system development skills

Proven success in building effective business partnerships at the senior level

Strong ability to influence and provide strategic recommendations to senior level executives

Strong critical thinking skills with ability to challenge conventional approaches and offer alternative solutions

Demonstrated success with leading teams in delivering metrics and results

Prior experience initiating and managing multiple projects and competing priorities within a matrix environment

Prior change management experience with success in leading teams and/or departments

4 - 5 years in Pricing - Healthcare a plus

Additional Knowledge & Skills

Detailed knowledge of segment specific financial models

Understanding of how realizes earnings and cash flow

Experience with the Agile application development methodology

Knowledge of SAP invoice pricing, contract pricing, Rebates, Master Data, and SAP COPA

Strong ability to work well under pressure and navigate through a fast paced environment

Knowledge of finance policies, practices

Experience in business-to-business pricing; pharmaceutical industry experience a plus

Strong time management skills

Primary location DFW - open to remote for the right candidate

In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
