Heavy Civil Utility Contractor needing a Project Manager in San Jose
Your new company
Hays Civil Construction has partnered with a Sacramento-based General Contractor who has been providing heavy civil services underground for over 100 years. They are currently hiring a Project Manager to support their utility projects.
Your new role
In this role as a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include providing leadership for the various areas of civil project construction including cost planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and management of all on-site workers. You will be in command of the project from the start right through to completion and the entire close-out process.
What you'll need to succeed
At least 3 years' work experience preferred , field experience a plus.
Experience in Pipeline/Lift Station a plus
Understanding of construction cost accounting
Estimating and scheduling skills
Read blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications.
Effective organizational skills, both verbally and written with clientele, team, and management
