The range for this role is $64,000 - $87,000
Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 5% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance.
Candidates must be willing/able to work onsite in our Colorado Springs, CO office.

The Role
The Systems Administrator provides day-to-day hands on support to the organization servers, virtualized environment, cloud applications and migration, applications, networking, and mobile devices. This position may direct the responsibilities and prioritize the duties of the Tier I level Help Desk support team. This position interfaces directly with internal customers and various departments, troubleshooting user issues to resolution. Other areas of support include LAN support, break/fix, software/hardware upgrades, patch management, application installs, and user support and training.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain servers and mid to large-size computer systems to meet the current and future requirements of system operations, while maintaining the integrity and reliability of the system
Develop and maintain Apple servers and any additional equipment needed to manage iOS devices
Work as a customer advocate to ensure that the desktop maintains high performance and ease of use
Monitor systems operations, identify issues, and recommend and implement solutions
Monitor local and wide-area networks
Play a major role in Disaster Recovery planning and implementation
Provide change management communication in advance to end users regarding system changes, outages, and problems
Install, configure, test, and deploy Windows-based server operating systems and applications, protection utilities and add-ons, with ability to implement
Develop documentation and training materials for Deployment Technicians
Test and verify Standard Desktop image with supported hardware configurations
Develop and deploy packages and updates to desktop clients
Communicate with vendors to open support incidents and future purchasing options
Test compatibility with new Standard Desktops and Standard hardware configurations
Create, troubleshoot, and deploy packages and updates to Mac clients
Second and third level desktop-related trouble ticket support
Develop Service Desk materials to assist in the Tier 1 Help Desk technicians' ability to troubleshoot issues at the first level
Participate in the software packaging quality assurance process for all supported applications
Engineer laptop imaging process
Collaborate with Help Desk and Customer Service to deliver feature-rich and user-friendly laptops to users
Develop, publish, and maintain system documentation according to department standards
Maintain software inventory
Maintain software license compliance
Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefs
All other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Abilities
Strong virtualization skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows, Exchange, and domain architecture) and electronic data interchange (EDI)
Extensive VMware virtualization knowledge and experience
In-depth understanding of network components and their interactions
In-depth knowledge of server-based Windows systems
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Windows design
Strong knowledge of protocols and tools for systems preventive maintenance and network

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED with 3 years' experience directly related to IT OR
Bachelor's Degree in IT-related field plus 1 year experience in an IT environment required
Certifications
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) preferred
VMware Certified Professional (VCP) highly preferred
Microsoft Exchange Server Training and or Certification (2016, 2019) highly preferred
Comptia A+ highly preferred
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) highly preferred
