Job Purpose:
The Social Media Content Coordinator will collaborate closely with external agencies to develop and execute content strategies across various social media platforms, maximizing our online impact and facilitating seamless customer interactions across platforms. This role will drive digital marketing efforts and oversee our website for multiple product lines. Focus will be on crafting engaging content, optimizing the online shopping experience, and converting our audience through compelling social media content.
This role will be onsite in our Encino, CA office
Job Responsibilities:
Principal (Essential) Duties
Develop and execute social media content strategies to drive engagement, traffic, and conversions on our website
Create targeted and high-quality content across multiple product lines for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok
Manage the content calendar, ensuring timely and consistent posting across all platforms
Monitor and analyze social media metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement
Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing graphics, photos, and videos for company website and social media posts
Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies, and suggest innovative ideas to enhance our social media presence
Monitor online mentions and reviews, swiftly addressing inquiries to uphold customer satisfaction
Coordinate with external agencies for social media advertising campaigns and influencer partnerships
Ensure social media and website content is optimized for search engines to increase organic visibility, drive traffic to the website, and align with SEO strategies
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe is a plus
Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimization techniques
Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
Experience/ Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or related field and/or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing or content creation
Demonstrated track record of driving engagement and conversions through social media channels
Experience managing content calendars and working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Previous experience collaborating with external agencies is preferred.
Compensation
The compensation range for this role is between $70,000-$75,000 annually, based on experience
