The Role:
As a Compliance Analyst at Checkbook, you'll be instrumental in enhancing our operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Working closely with key stakeholders, you'll assess current processes, identify areas for improvement, and help us navigate the MTL licensure regime effectively.
This role offers a unique opportunity for accelerated growth. In just one year, you'll gain insights and experience equivalent to what you might acquire in a larger enterprise over five years. You'll engage with senior decision-makers, honing your ability to deliver significant value in a dynamic startup environment.

Regulatory Compliance Assessment
Risk Identification and Analysis

Regulatory Updates and Impact Analysis
About You:
Oversight of all MTL applications or experience assisting with MTL applications
Compliance background: FinTech or Banking preferred
3-10 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in compliance-related tasks
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in the face of change
Bonus points if you have startup experience
Extra bonus points if you have FinTech payments startup experience :)
