Position Summary:
ICD Technology is seeking an Information Security Analyst as part of our Security and Compliance team. This is a hands-on role where you will perform daily security tasks, liaise with our managed SOC provider, participate in security audits, risk analysis, vulnerability and network testing, compliance audits, and research to enhance and maintain the rock-solid, secure environment our customers have come to expect.
Your efforts at ICD Tech will help our Traders and Clients invest more reliably, effectively, and securely.
You will need to embrace learning and continuous improvement, have a strong technical skill set, and favor simple solutions over complex ones. You should have effective communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Monitor security alerts and incidents, investigate, and respond to security breaches in a timely manner.
Respond to security alerts from both internal systems and managed SOC escalations.
Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses in our systems.
Participate in incident response activities, including post-incident analysis and reporting.
Participate in the development and maintenance of incident response and disaster recovery plans.
Collaborate with other departments to implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
Assemble cybersecurity training for employees to ensure a strong security culture within the organization.
Assist in the evaluation and implementation of security tools and technologies.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Stay current on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve security measures.
Remain current with training to ensure knowledge of best practices is up to date.
Provide management with updates on threats and vulnerabilities that the Company may face and efforts to mitigate those threats and vulnerabilities.
Support the evaluation and vetting of new vendors, technology, and products from a cybersecurity perspective.
Participate in evidence gathering for SSAE annual audits.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Participate in the on-call rotation.
Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Associates degree in Cybersecurity plus equivalent experience will be considered
Proven experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
Experience with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.).
Proficiency in using security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and firewalls.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Negotiable salary range of $96,000 - $118,000 depending on experience.
