Family House Toledo is a dedicated non-profit organization providing emergency shelter, resources, and supportive services to families in crisis. Our goal is to help families navigate and overcome homelessness by providing a safe environment and the necessary tools for success.

Position: Associate Director of Finance and Human Resources

Location: Toledo, OH

Type: Full-time

Position Overview:

The Associate Director of Finance and Human Resources is responsible for performing administrative, daily operational and executive functions that include but are not limited to: grant and contract compliance procedures/draws/reports, accounts payable/receivable and management of designated internal accounting and human resource activities.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Responsible for complete fiscal management and statistical reporting requirements to grants administered by, but not limited to: Toledo Lucas County Homelessness Board, The City of Toledo, Lucas County, The State of Ohio, Foundations/Corporations, The United Way.

2. Responsible for complete fiscal management of Family House finances, with board assistance; to include Sage Accounting, QuickBooks, property, federal, state, and other taxes, worker’s compensation, etc.

3. Maintains Board Member files with resumes and applications, maintains legal records of Incorporation, HR records, Board by-laws, and other legal documentation.

4. Assists the Executive Director in investigation of grant and contractual opportunities, as well as the development and solicitation of the grant and grant compliance activities.

5. Assists the Executive Director with community presentations and activities as needed.

6. Responsible for collecting timesheets and submitting payroll, maintains statuses of employee time off and benefits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and three (3) years office management, human resources and grant/contract compliance experience in a non profit setting and working knowledge of Sage 50 Accounting and/or QuickBooks.
