As a Project Manager working in-market, you will :

Lead market-specific projects (recurring and ad-hoc) of varying scope, including: Advancement of market playbook objectives and proprieties through workplan management and meeting facilitation

Ongoing project management specific to operational priorities through workplan management and meeting facilitation

Support for market client partner governance structures including prep for meetings

Support for a range of market-specific projects as defined by the Market President and aligned with the EPMO leadership

Define project scope, determining timelines, developing a workplan, managing artifacts, and aligning team members to initiate projects

Manage a workplan with clear milestones through effective communication and collaboration with all levels of colleagues

Create standard tools and templates to drive effective project management

Proactively identify and solve problems to advance projects of varying complexity

Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards, coupled with flexibility and grit to successfully drive projects to completion

Support and advance organizational standard processes, tools, methods, and operating models for successful project management

A day in the life:

The Market Project Manager serves in a critical role advancing existing and future growth and operations within a Navvis geographic market aligned around an anchor client partnership.

This position reports into the Navvis Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), and works under the leadership of the Navvis Market President as part of the in-market team.

This role will work across Navvis’ shared service departments and will interface with a wide range of senior leaders and team members. The ability to understand, map, connect, and manage complex systems and matrixed teams will be important.

Communication, technical skills, healthcare acumen, curiosity, independent thinking, and the aptitude to foster trust will power the successful candidate.

This position requires a balance of expertise in project management methods coupled with the ability to be strategic, proactive, and gritty to solve some of the biggest challenges in healthcare. The successful Market Project Manager will apply their knowledge and skillset within a rapidly growing organization.

The role requires expertise and a strong background in project management best practices, tools and platforms (Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.), and methods. Certification through professional organization such as PMP is preferred. Healthcare experience is highly preferred, especially individuals with backgrounds in population health and value-based care delivery within physician organizations, hospitals, health systems, and health plans.

What success looks like in this role:

The Market Project Manager typically is responsible for understanding, advancing, and completing projects of varied scope and complexity specific to the market. This includes strategic initiatives defined by the Market President, implementation projects, operational projects including data management, technology, care management, practice engagement and management, and reporting/analytics, and existing and future client partnership governance project management.

The Market Project Manager will define project tactics derived from the market strategy, develop and manage a workplan, and communicate with stakeholders throughout each project lifecycle. The Market Project Manager will leverage intuition and best practices to identify and manage risks to ensure successful project completion.

Project scope will span a wide range, from action item follow-up and management, to short-term projects, to more complex projects requiring participation of multiple teams across the organization. The ability to understand, prioritize, and manage this range of responsibilities will be essential.

Requirements

We are excited about you if you have these things:

Three, or more, years of project management experience

Expertise in using and optimizing project management platforms and tools (e.g. Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

Proven ability to identify project requirements, define a plan, manage artifacts, and execute across the full life cycle

Excellent analytical skills

Proven ability to develop relationships with individuals at all levels, both in person and virtually

Ability to instill confidence and accelerate Navvis’ culture of conviction

Commitment to Navvis’ mission, vision, and ongoing efforts to transform healthcare

Professional certification, such as PMP, preferred

Process improvement expertise (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.) preferred

Experience managing projects across multiple healthcare disciplines (such as implementations, operations, delivery, technology, finance, etc.) highly preferred

Healthcare experience, specifically population health and value-based care, preferred

Applicants located in St. Louis, MO; Boston, MA; or Minneapolis, MN preferred
