Job Description:
Analysts analyze data and document their results and recommendations in order to solve problems, provide information needed to make business decisions and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Analysts typically prepare for their role by either achieving a post-secondary degree in a specific field, obtaining certification, or by on-the-job training and work experience. the primary function of the role is applying analytical knowledge, issue management, and document creation skills as an exempt-level individual contributor.
Essential functions:
• Process, report, and track issues received from business line areas. Research, analyze and resolve issues within scope of job.
• Formulate and respond to inquiries through research and fact-finding.
• Perform various team administrative tasks like following up with business areas to resolve issues, document decision/issue memos, create PowerPoint presentations, etc.
• Execute various user acceptance testing (UAT) activities to ensure appropriate testing is conducted for the work effort.
• Support specific product operational processes to review and respond to Special Product Requests (SPR) and non-standard ID card requests from large group clients
• Create and update standard and adhoc tracking and reporting requests.
• May lead or support components of project and/or production support activities.
• Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications.
• May participate in department/divisional workgroups and initiatives.
