Facilities Project Manager

We are looking for an exceptional Facilities Project Manager to join our team. The goal of the Facilities Project Manager at Wisk is responsibility for the development and execution of capital projects. You will be part of the Facilities team that builds and maintains our offices and manufacturing spaces.

Wisk's vision is to build the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment. In support of this vision, your goal is to make sure that our team members have optimal facilities to perform their work. Your mission is to oversee and manage a portfolio of facilities projects, including pre-design, design, construction, move, and closeout processes
The successful candidate is expected to develop plans for executing projects, including exploration of alternatives, sequencing, and phasing. The candidate shall be able to work independently while keeping management and teams fully informed. In this role, the candidate must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and should be a self-motivated and self-starting individual.
What you will do: Develop preliminary scopes, schedules, and budgets for capital expenditure projects
Manage vendors, consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and relationships with authorities having jurisdiction
Develop plans for executing projects, including exploration of alternatives, sequencing, and phasing
Oversee and manage a portfolio of facilities projects, including pre-design, design, construction, move, and closeout processes
Develop Requests for Bid for design and construction work
Negotiate and manage vendor contracts
Participate in the preparation of presentations for executive approval of projects
Coordinate with other departments including Manufacturing, Engineering, Marketing, IT, and EHS
Conduct site visits, audits, due diligence, and documentation
Present project status to upper management
What you have done: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in architecture, engineering (civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical), or construction management.
Minimum of four (4) years of design and project management experience
Must have excellent communication abilities (oral and written)
Competence with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
Working knowledge of project scheduling software
Ability to effectively work individually or in a team environment
Willingness to cross-train for other job functions
Willingness to travel locally to different sites and out of State (up to 15%)
Desired: You are familiar with MS Project and AutoCAD

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $136,822 - $160,967 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
