Role Overview:
We’re looking for a dynamic Director, FP&A to join our Global Finance Team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of FP&A is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis within the organization. This role involves providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership, guiding the company's financial strategy, and driving operational efficiencies through data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Establish FP&A as a center of analytical excellence to be shared with functional leaders across the organization
Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and long range planning for SAAS, Media and Professional Services business
Support the annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast process and provide variance analysis against actual results
Analyze key performance metrics, revenue trends and operational drivers to identify areas for improvement and optimization
Preparation of presentations and reports for senior leadership, executive leadership, board meetings and external stakeholders.
Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions
Collaborate with operating teams and provide fact-based recommendations that improve profitability, operating efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect relevant data and insights for financial analysis.
Cultivate deep partnership with Finance, Sales and Client Success Operations
Requirements Requirements
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, majority of which in a SaaS company
Solid understanding of SAAS and services metrics
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Adaptive Planning and ERP systems such as NetSuite
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance professionals
