About the Role
The Company is seeking an interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to take on a pivotal role in overseeing a wide range of financial and operational functions. The CFO will be responsible for managing finance, accounting, internal controls, forecasting, budgeting, treasury, tax, contract administration, IT, legal administrative, and facilities. This position requires a hands-on approach, as the successful candidate will be deeply involved in day-to-day accounting and finance tasks. As a key member of the senior leadership team, the CFO will also be tasked with ensuring the overall financial health and well-being of the organization, including controlling independent auditor relationships, leading investor relations, and governing accounting policies and procedures.Applicants for the CFO role at the company must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior accounting or finance position, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialization in finance or accounting, and preferably a CPA designation or MBA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of proficiency in accounting software and other computer applications, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The CFO will also be expected to manage the strategic aspects of the accounting and finance functions, identify and address business risks, and work to improve the integrity of the company's financial information.
