Market-leading global food manufacturer, rapidly expanding, is in search of an experienced Production Supervisor to join its team, focused on leadership offood manufacturinglines within its flagship facility in Memphis, TN . Similar roles would include Packaging Supervisor, Processing Supervisor, Batching Supervisor, Compounding Supervisor, or Blending Supervisor within a food, beverage, consumer products, pharmaceutical, or chemical plant.
TheProduction Supervisorwill have responsibility for managing heavily-automated manufacturing lines on the assigned shift.This position will require flexibility with shift, primarily working NIGHTS, 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, 2/3/2 rotation, with every other weekend off.
Key requirements to be considered for this opportunity:
BS Degree preferred
2-3 years of demonstrated production leadership experience within a food manufacturing plant .Similar industries will be considered, including consumer products packaging.
Strong knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations, as well as GMPs and HACCP / SQF / GFSI / PCQI standards
Ability to lead union associates from the floor, including adherence to 5S and lean manufacturing principles
Must have excellent communication skills and systems ability - SAP experience is preferred
Flexibility with shift is absolutely essential. This position will likely be assigned to a night shift , 4:00 PM - 4:00 AM, 2/3/2 rotation, with every other weekend off.

Our client will offer a base salary of $70k-80k depending on experience, overtime pay, bonus opportunity, excellent benefits that begin on day one of employment, generous PTO plan, and a matching 401(k). Candidates local to the Memphis area will be given top consideration.
