Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Support all pre and post sales activities.
· Service DC power supplies and electronic loads by troubleshooting to a module level.
· Install and commission new power systems at customers’ facility.
· Provide training to customers on the use of power supplies and electronic loads.
· Read electrical schematics.
· Provide excellent customer support.
· Write detailed service and field reports.
· Coordinate with other teams to resolve complex application issues.
· Support quality assurance functions to ensure a superior customer experience.
· Drive customer issues to resolution
· Provide feedback to factory regarding field failures and common application questions.
· Reproduce customer failures in the lab in order to report the information to factory engineers.
· Plan and record how-to and product demo videos.
· Manage customer expectations while working on resolving customer’s issue.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a power electronics repair technician or similar role.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to write detailed and accurate reports.
· Excellent organizational skills
· Familiarity with electronic theory, troubleshooting and reading schematics.
· Must be a self-starter, work independently, detail oriented, well organized and the ability to multitask with strong work ethics.
· Computer skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
· Must be able to pass a nationwide background check / drug screen.
· Candidate must be authorized to work in the US.
· Able to lift 50lbs and willingness to operate a hand-lift.
· Travel up to 50%
