Description
Position Summary
Working under the Chief Strategy Officer, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in implementing and coordinating the company's marketing strategy. This includes the preparation of client and customer-facing collateral, and coordinating marketing activities and campaigns. This position will also work with key internal stakeholders to leverage the company's existing social media channels to further new business growth and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Desktop publishing duties, turning content into collateral using various desktop publishing software.
Proofreading and assisting in the preparation of proposals and other client-facing materials.
Tracking sales data, maintaining promotional materials inventory, and maintaining databases.
Communicating campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to the team while providing instructions for promotion or use.
Maintaining an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.
Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading trade publications.
Develop and analyze the company's current social media content to recommend changes to improve brand presence and drive traffic volume and time spent on the company's social media pages.
Monitoring trends in the business application of social media and making recommendations on how to apply them to the company's social media content.
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Job Qualifications
Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing coordination or a similar role.
Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other desktop publishing software.
Excellent oral and written communication.
Qualifications Desired
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of two years' experience in developing marketing programs. Project management experience and time-management skills for juggling numerous time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
Performance Standards
This position will receive an annual performance review from the direct supervisor to discuss actual performance as compared to company stated expectations and agreed upon job related performance goals for the upcoming year.
