Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7am-5pm OR 8am-6pm
Compensation:
$2,000 base commission

Responsibilities:
Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues.
Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations.
Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently.
Increase profitability by maximizing sales & executing retail promotions.
Oversee technicians working on customers’ vehicles, including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times.
Oversee and participate in quality control.
Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriate.
This position consists of gathering complete and accurate customer and vehicle information and recording it in the Dealership Management System software (DMS). Listening with understanding and empathy towards the customer and the issues they are having with their vehicle and translate it to the technicians on the repair order in a way that is concise and consistent with helping to get them as much information to clearly diagnose/ repair the vehicle.
Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service, and good employee and community relations. Communication skills must be top notch, including in-person, over the phone, or via email/ digital platforms. Time management for updating customers as well as completion of repairs is paramount to maintaining customer relationships and trust, therefore highly valued. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1 year previous Service Advisor experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control.
Automotive service advisor experience preferred.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.
Multitasking skills.
Proficient use of computers/business machines.
