**JOB SUMMARY:**
* Develops and Maintains productivity standards for all warehouse tasks. Reviews individual progress and development on a regular basis and recommends actions for increasing productivity and accuracy.
* Duties include Interviewing candidates, ensuring all employees are properly trained, observing employee performance, offering feedback, and annual performance evaluations.
* Ability to perform all Frontline tasks and performs the tasks when needed.
* Practices open communication throughout the organization.
* Promotes Team environment for all activities
* Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities as necessary.
**PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Clear direction, organizing, and leadership skills with focus on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency within a modern Computerized warehouse.
* Ensures materials are received in the correct location, tagged, stored, pulled and reported in accordance with established procedures while ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing.
* Receive all materials purchased and liaise with quality and purchasing to verify delivered goods match order specification.
* Identify, Implement, and Supervise Kan Ban and VMI Programs to assure accuracy.
**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:**
* Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
* Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
* 2-4 years of supervisory experience in materials/warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
* Proficient computer skills required including ERP Software, Warehouse Management Software, Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High School diploma or GED.
* Valid drivers license and good driving record.
* Able to lift 75 lbs
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:**
* Bachelors degree in supply chain, operations, business or related field.
* 4 years of Warehouse management experience in materials/warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
* Successful experience in employee training and development including that of peers and subordinates.
