DUTIES Greeting customers when they walk through the door

Building rapport through conversation and honest recommendations

Ringing up sales and arranging for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order if needed

Inviting customers to search the company’s website

Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor

Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organized at all times

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service

Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features

Follow and achieve department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis

“Go the extra mile” to drive sales

Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas

Actively seek out customers in store

Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options

Process POS (point of sale) purchases

Cross sell products

Handle returns of merchandise

Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service

Build productive trust relationships with customers

Comply with inventory control procedures

Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

Manage store marketing channels such as SMS, Email marketing and social media

Develop and manage client book

Communicate with executives on daily store operations through daily recaps and weekly selling reports

Manage stylist pulls and VIP purchases

REQUIREMENT Strong interest in Fashion

Experience with social media channels

Experience using Shopify POS or similar software

Experience with CMS platforms

Experience with Klaviyo & Attentive is a preferred

High school diploma or equivalent qualification

A minimum of 3 years experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role

Strong leadership and customer management abilities
