Primary Responsibilities:
Support both the project office and field staff with management of contract documents, project schedules, change management, subcontractor management, preparation of invoices, monthly job forecast reports, typical project documentation, project closeout, etc.,
Assist the field team with monitoring and documentation of contractor performance relating to approved scope of work and schedules for construction.
Apply construction management best practices and client processes to design and construction.
Coordinate with upper management and onsite project team.
Assist with review of subcontractor invoices for accuracy in progress delivery.
Assist with review the project schedules and critical path activities.
Perform technical scope and price-reasonableness evaluations of proposals for changes in the work.
Assist with the identification and resolution of issues arising during construction and project handover stages.
Have a comprehensive understanding of the contract documents, plans, specifications, and construction means and methods.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in construction contracting, construction management or engineering organization preferred.
College degree preferred in construction/architecture/engineering or equivalent experience.
Previous experience working on phased projects is preferred.
Working knowledge of building construction, building systems and technology, contract management, project execution, team building and client relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to take on project challenges and responsibilities and a willingness to learn.
Experience with at-risk and/or design-build construction.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and MS Project or Primavera P6 scheduling software, Bluebeam Revu preferred.
Experience working federal, government or commercial projects successfully from start to finish.
Knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, manpower, etc.
Demonstrated ability to work with field operation teams.
Must have authorization to work in the US. Sponsorships not available.
