About the Position
The Regional Digital Marketing Director (AMERICAS) will be responsible for working with the Global Digital Marketing team to drive, develop and execute the marketing strategy for the Ria Digital business in the Americas. The Regional Digital Marketing Director will define and execute against market-specific tactics to drive new customer acquisition and repeat customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer segmentation and demonstrated experience in managing global PPC, display and paid social campaigns. The candidate will be responsible for managing the KPIs and analytics surrounding the results, and continuously evaluating the different marketing tactics to get the best ROI.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement the digital marketing strategy driven by Global Marketing in all Ria digital send countries in the Americas region
Use data to define KPIs and goals across different segments, identify trends, and optimize marketing programs to execute against overall company goals
Own the results and analytics associated with the KPIs defined by the business; continuously evaluate the platforms, results, and test & learn to drive lower customer acquisition costs, as defined by the business
Develop regional execution plans to support digital marketing tactics such as PPC, SEO, Display, Paid Social and other media opportunities
Manage the media agency relationship, and modify plans and KPIs as necessary to hit the business goals
Manage the regional marketing budgets across the different media functions and countries
Lead development and execution of ethnic and other targeted marketing plans to reach Ria Digital’s key corridors/segments
Work closely with the digital marketing global counterparts for cooperation, shared learnings, and messaging opportunities
Work closely with Ria brick & mortar (retail) marketing teams in the region to identify cross-channel synergies for an omni-channel customer strategy
Define and test new strategies and media opportunities to find the best media mix to drive customer acquisition and transaction goals, while managing to budget and key business metrics
Assist Global Marketing team in developing creative and messaging strategies
Support Global Product team to market ongoing pricing initiatives and seasonal promotions
Analyze regional competitors and recommend improvements to marketing strategies and messaging by country
QUALIFICATIONS
8+ years in a general digital marketing role, preferably in the financial services and/or payments industry.
Experience managing large scale digital marketing programs, including experience with media planning and execution & agent communication
Experience managing a team (even a small one)
Strong background in mobile marketing, including mobile app promotion
Budget & KPI management, including CPA, payback period, ROI, and other defined metrics within the marketing analytics platform
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience presenting to stakeholders and senior leadership
A knack for staying organized with multiple deliverables and competing timelines
Strong project management and communication skills including extensive multi-tasking and prioritization abilities
