Basic Function of the Position: (This is a non-exempt position)
To provide support to the CES Sales & Business Development department by providing sales support, sales reporting, prospecting, and planning.
Critical Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Sales and Business Development team through operational and exhibitor service needs. This includes updating floor plans, collections, e-mail and data entry, and training temps on customer service.
Create and manage the exhibit space waiting lists and data. Compile and research the data to ensure correct data is in each list.
Qualify incoming leads interested in exhibiting at CES. Determine appropriate product category/venue and contract qualified companies into CES. Serve as the liaison between CTA and exhibit partners for all customer service needs which includes, contract processing, floor plans, collections and all other communication as needed.
Provide assistance in advance of on-site space selection, including auditing customer seniority and related documentation for consideration within the priority points system.
Assist with space selection on-site at CES.
Perform other duties as required by business needs.
Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in sales/customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or a related field.
Skills/Capabilities/Technical: Must possess good organizational skills and have attention for detail.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, change oriented environment.
Must have excellent communication skills, be customer/team oriented and have the ability to work with all staff levels. Must have a can-do, positive attitude.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, other Windows related software applications, Expocad and Sales Force.
Additional Information: Travel to CES in January.
