Our client, Sabr Co,. is on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Construction Project Manager to join their organization. You will be responsible for managing the project estimates, costs, timeline, team, subcontractors, and client interface. You will be interfacing with both on-site and virtual teams. The ideal candidate should possess the capability to oversee all aspects of project management and operation management.
To be an effective project manager, you will be ethical, organized, skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving and communications abilities. Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of residential, commercial and government contracts are important parts of the successful candidates’ talents.

Level/Salary Range: Starting at $35/hour depending on experience

Role and Responsibilities
Determine and define scope of work and deliverables
Predict resources needed to complete project
Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites for construction activities.
Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Manage costs in order to meet budget
Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
Manage construction schedule and activities
Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
Ensure work is done in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and all relevant building and safety codes
Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
Coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and visit potential clients to provide estimates for future endeavors
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management with an emphasis on construction.
3+ years of experience in project management within construction
Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations.
High degree of familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
Preferred Skills
Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Strong leadership and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
This role is good for individuals who:
Have either never been previously employed or be returning to the workforce after a significant absence.
