Judson Group has been retained by a highly regarded, fee-only RIA in the search for a Director of Client Services for their Wexford office. This individual’s main responsibility is to be the liaison between the client and the custodian (primarily Schwab). This includes managing the full cycle of operations including account openings/transfers, maintenance and record of cash flows, setting up journals and account structures unique to each client requirement, and being a proactive line of support for the client and the advisors.
This is an outstanding opportunity with a rapidly growing, forward-thinking, nimble firm that knows how to treat its people. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in a client service role, will appreciate working in a fun, but focused culture, and has a service mentality when dealing with the firm’s clients.
Responsibilities:
Will be required to communicate closely with the trading department, the advisors, third-party accountants and attorneys, custodian representatives, software support, and compliance resources.
Regular monitoring and maintenance of account aggregation tools and process
Proactive client communication and follow up
Requirements:
Experience working with a wide range of account types – retirement, brokerage, trust, business, etc. We expect this person to have knowledge of each account type.
Ability to coordinate and organize secure document exchange with clients, custodians, and third parties
Experience working with Schwab Advisor Services or comparable custodian(s).
Experience with CRM tools (RedTail)
