As a Product Manager Director/Sr. Director at Salesforce, you will be instrumental in crafting our product vision and driving its success in the market. Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy: Define and implement the product strategy to align with the company's overall vision and goals.
Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, finance, sales and marketing, to define and both the product & trust road map.
Design and deliver new features that improve product usage, grow the business and make customers happy.
Represent Salesforce as a product guide at customer interactions, industry and corporate events, and through community sites and social media.
Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Build impactful, personal customer relationships. Bring the customer's voice into the creation process. Own requirements, specifications, and release plans. Own demos.
Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product managers play a significant role in creating alignment between engineering teams and collaborators.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business or Computer Science or related fields **( We were told in Security/Gov to use... “A technical degree required“) Up to you but helps if need sponsorship.
Experience identifying and addressing customer needs, establishing relationships with customers, and developing an awareness of relevant services
Communicating with customers in an organized and knowledgeable manner, and delivering clear requests for information
Validated experience in product management or similar roles.
Proven track record of successfully launching and leading a product or a service
Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with various team members.
Deep expertise in customer engagement applications, business intelligence and enterprise application platform development
10+ years of product management or equivalent experience with a consistent track record of discovering opportunities, defining and delivering products
Strong technical abilities to hold your own in debates with technical team
Entrepreneurial demeanor, possess a high energy level to react to situations quickly and conclusively, possessing self-confidence to be outspoken when taking a position, not afraid to make decisions

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,200 to $326,300.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $210,800 to $355,900.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
