About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Education and Engagement to lead the development and management of comprehensive music education programs. The role involves targeting diverse audiences, from children to adults, and ensuring that these initiatives align with the organization's artistic and organizational priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining partnerships with schools, community organizations, and other entities to expand the company's presence and impact in the community. Additionally, the VP will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's outreach and educational efforts by coordinating with key stakeholders to update, refine, and implement the company's equity, diversity, and inclusion strategy, as well as education and community engagement agendas.Applicants for the Vice President of Education and Engagement position should have a strong background in music education and a proven track record of developing and overseeing successful educational programs. The role requires excellent partnership management skills and the ability to work with diverse audiences. A deep understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion issues in the context of music education is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of aligning educational initiatives with the company's overall mission and values. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree or higher preferred.
