Association Management Center seeks an Education andOperations Administrator to join our team. The Educationand Operations Administrator is responsible for the general support ofthe association and will support a variety of ongoing projects,products, and educational offerings for our client, AmericanAssociation of Neuroscience Nurses, AANN. The person in this role willwork in a collaborative team environment with both staff andvolunteers with responsibilities including supporting and coordinatingvolunteer travel and meetings, foundation grant support, coordinationof continuing education processes, and support of all educational meetings.
Position Responsibilities
Works with designated client activities and committees.
Coordinates activities and projects of board-appointed committeesand task forces.
Take and prepare minutes of committee and/or Board meetings.
Collect, organize and code Accounts Payable, collect receipts,process expense reports and check requests.
Develop in-depth understanding of Association Management Software(e.g., Personify), survey platforms, abstract management, mobileapp, ANCC reporting and online community software.
Assist account manager with coordination of board meetings.Coordinate and support board members’ travel.
Monitor inventory of marketing collateral and fulfill requests.
Provide support for events including speakers/faculty managementand evaluation coordination.
Travel to annual client conferences and participate in on-site activities.
Maintain and update chapter information.
Execute website updates and blast e-mails as needed.
Continuing Education (CE) committee support. (Schedule calls,distribute agenda, draft minutes, etc.)
Creates activity summaries for all CE activities for compliancewith accreditation providers.
Files CE, conference, and other paperwork in accordance withaccreditation provider guidelines.
Provides support for other online and distance education offerings(webinars, etc.).
Composes letters and routine correspondence and generates reportsas needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skills Minimum of 1 year professional experience including projectmanagement in an administrative capacity.
Ability to travel out of state and overnight, 2-4 times per year.Ability to travel by all modes of transportation including car,train and plane.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer orientation.
Ability to organize and manage multiple projects/priorities.
Ability to think ahead and plan.
Willingness to learn new web-based programs.
Professionalism: Good judgment, ability to interact with alllevels of staff and vendors, appropriate demeanor and appearance, confidence.
