Job Title: AWS Data Architect with Telecom
Duration: Long Term Contract
Work Type: Remote with 50% Travel required to Denver, CO
Note: Data Architect/Governance, More Senior, must be a specialist in the Telecom domain. All of the above from skills standpoint (from requirement)
Has experience working on similar project in the past who can lead effectively and work with client team
Can assist customer with the implementation of AWS monitoring dashboards in Customer's non-production environment
Can assist customer with the implementation of insights on data ingestion process uptime and alerting based on conditions identified by Customer in Customer's non-production environment
Can assist customer in the creation of a proposed high level implementation plan for future phases, including mutually agreed user dashboards
Has experience in Data Governance
8 to 10 years of experience with information technology programs and services, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise data management and related technologies.
5 or 7 years of Experience with Erwin or a comparable data modeling tool.
Experience with enterprise data management technologies, including database platforms, ETL tools, and SQL.
Experience in implementing Data Catalog, Data metadata , lineage and data management solutions
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), web services, enterprise data management.
Information security, applications development and cloud-based architectures and NoSQL DB Modelling experience
Experience in working in a cloud data lake deployment is an added advantage
Overseeing enterprise data governance program development.
Architecting the solution and framework.
Facilitating data governance organization, tactical and operational stewards, and the data governance team
Developing and delivering data governance program for Wireless team
Providing quality assurance - oversight, monitor, report results to governance council.
Establishing, maintaining, and periodically reviewing and recommending changes to data governance policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
Assisting in defining data quality metrics for periodic release.
Supporting data quality issue analysis and remediation for "strategic" data.
Conducting audits to ensure that policies, procedures and metrics are in place for maintaining/improving the program.
