Core Responsibilities

Franchise/Brand Marketing Planning, Implementation & Project Management (60%)

Develop and implement effective and efficient integrated marketing plans to drive brand equity, build active share (penetration) and re-activation (repeat purchase) and frequency for the US BU LEGO® Group Disney IP Franchises; ensure alignment and clarity with cross-functional marketing teams

Assist Brand Managers with customer communication, business analysis, and execution on core projects within segment.

Advise the US BU Disney IP Franchise Annual Marketing Strategy development, objective setting process and consumer communications planning.

Support Brand Managers’ efforts to drive internal and external share-of-mind, confidence and retailer support for Disney IP Franchises; help to influence planned growth for kids franchises

Drive delivery against Key Performance Indicator targets through business planning process and advising on marketing activation optimizations.

Develop and analyze annual and monthly consumer sales target for assigned product lines and identify key trends and insights driving business performance.

Manage agency partners

Business Management (40%)

Provide thought leadership; constant analysis and evaluation of brand and campaign performance and initiate corrective actions where necessary

Establish best-in-class retailer strategies in conjunction with the sales/customer teams

Participate in and provide support for customer sell-in of product lines and critical marketing programs

Work closely with the customer, trade marketing and eCommerce teams to build coherent shopper activation plans and consumer insights to drive performance

This role presents the opportunity to deploy local brand marketing expertise in partnership with media, licensing, and retail partners to drive brand health and sales growth in the U.S. Market.

The U.S. Marketing Department is responsible for crafting and fostering consumer demand by converting consumer, shopper and market insights into compelling, creative, and innovative marketing programs that remain grounded in a strong commercial understanding and focus.

This individual will join the US Brand Management Team as Associate Brand Manager, supporting the LEGO® Group’s Disney IP Franchises by assisting the Brand Managers in implementing innovative strategies and marketing plans.

Do you have what it takes?

Results-orientated with proven strength in decision making, analytics, time management, and market innovation

Effective relationship builder and negotiator who can collaborate across functions and business units

Experience with agency management, campaign development and campaign performance tracking

Effective presentation and writing skills with the ability to convey a compelling and concise message, and to engage and encourage colleagues

Show flexibility to work in groups or in close networks and appreciates strength in working with people from a diverse set of backgrounds

High level proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Power Point, to drive quality business analyses and communication

Previous experience effectively marketing to multicultural or underserved audiences preferred

Domestic travel required, pending any COVID-19 travel restrictions

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent marketing experience

New Location Update

This position will initially be based at our LEGO Education office at Boylston St, Back Bay, Boston before moving to a new central Boston office location by the end of 2026. Our hiring teams will discuss this with you during the interview stages.
