This person will design aftermarket avionics systems integrations, collaborate with stakeholders to ensure airworthiness compliance, and participate in certification processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop systems wiring diagrams and wire routing drawings
Perform electrical load analysis and prepare electrical load change reports
Create system functional check test plans and reports, as well as EMC/EMI test plans and reports
Assist with FAA/CAA airworthiness documents and participate in certification processes
Conduct technical reviews of design documentation for accuracy and completeness
Qualifications:
3 years of aircraft systems integration or avionics installation experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with one year of related experience
Familiarity with FAA 14 CFR Part 21 Aircraft Certification Requirements, experience with Part 23, 25, 27, or 29 certification is a plus
Basic proficiency in Computer Aided Design solutions like AutoCAD, DraftSight, SOLIDWORKS (expected within 3 months of hire)
