The impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the Relationship Management Team, the Relationship Management Director will oversee all client relations for DTCC with high profile (tier 1 and tier 2) Investment Managers, Brokers, Banks and IMO's in the financial services industry, growing the businesses and driving revenue. The Relationship Manager is the Voice of the Client and a trusted advisor who is responsible for overall customer satisfaction and ensuring optimization of customer use of Company services. The incumbent will also be DTCC's point of contact for participation in industry organizations, panels, as well as DTCC advisory boards and panels.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

* Overall responsibility for regional Relationship Management structure and global capabilities and alignment

* Create and execute account plans that will maintain and grow Company revenue

* Mentor and coach Relationship Managers to become proficient in every aspect of a solution proposal, project planning and problem resolution

* Provide strategy, guidance, and expertise to ensure seamless support of DTCC's global client base

* Coordinate with Marketing to ensure DTCC positioning

* Ensure that team coordinates closely with Product Management, Operations and other support areas

* Lead and participate in appropriate cross-functional teams

* Liase at a high level with top tier clients to guard and grow client base

* Lead the design and creation of account strategies and account plans for tier 1 & 2 clients

* Provide guidance on industry related initiatives affecting clients

* Ensure MIS/IT systems are in place to support client activities

* Coordinate customer participation in DTCC sponsored events and other groups

* Coordinate support activities and customer surveys for Business Units and research and design purposes

* Maintain all customer profiles

* Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 10 years of related experience

* Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

* Experienced manager of a successful Relationship Management team

* Proven ability to provide appropriate coaching, feedback and resources to develop team to fullest potential

* Willingness to travel to top tier accounts

* Established track record for delivery in a sales and account management role (3-5 years)

* Excellent understanding of solution selling and sales process

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
