We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology technology and a passion for providing excellent patient care. The Radiology Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with protocols and safety standards
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during imaging procedures
- Assist radiologists in interpreting imaging results and providing timely and accurate reports
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- ARRT certification and state licensure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures
- Experience with PACS systems and electronic medical records is a plus
