As a Technical Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
Provide application expertise in both mechanical and electrical design engineering to support District Sales Managers and customers.
Review drive specifications and job requirements provided by customers to ensure technical compliance.
Generate assembly instructions and support production as needed to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.
Handle complaints related to field failures, evaluate returned products for warranty analysis, document inspections/complaints, and generate reports.
Administer warranty decisions in accordance with established procedures.
Offer Electronics/Motion Control and Power Transmission application expertise to personnel and customers.
Maintain established sales activity and contribute to increasing new sales of products within Corporate guidelines.
Travel to customer sites as necessary to provide on-site support and foster long-term relationships.
Requirements for the Technical Service Engineer:
Experience with Mechanical and manufacturing principles.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering along with relevant experience.
The ability to travel to customer sites.
Must be knowledgeable in CAD systems
Customer service experience and communication skills.
