Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst utilizes knowledge of municipal government budget development and accounting practices in the analysis of current and historical financial trends to make sound conclusions and policy recommendations. Reporting to the Budget Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst holds a key role in labor negotiations, providing salary and benefit data and analysis.
The ideal candidate will have:
The ability to gather, organize, track, analyze and interpret data;
Experience using relational databases and Microsoft Excel as tools for analysis, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros;
Strong critical thinking and project management skills; and
The ability to develop materials and present complex information to a general audience, verbally and in writing.
