**POSITION TITLE:** Regional Sales Manager
**Reports to:** Director of Sales
**Region:** Southeast
**Territory:** AL, FL, GA, MS, TN
Expand your professional portfolio as a Regional Sales Manager with our growing clients in the Northeast region. As the Regional Sales Manager, you will grow sales revenue, market share, and develop a loyal customer base through direct and channel selling to achieve sales forecast targets. You will also be responsible for supporting sales growth with our certified sales and service partners within the Southeast region, as well as recruiting, training, and developing channel partners. The ideal candidate should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. This is a field-based home office position based within your region of responsibility with a preferred location of Central Florida or Atlanta Metro Area.
Scope of Position / Responsibilities
* Develop a strategic plan to grow sales and margin within an assigned region for all Hackney products.
* Prospect new business by conducting research to identify key decision-makers and influencers within assigned sales territory.
* Manage sales and opportunity pipeline including expected revenue, probability of a win, sales strategy, and identification of key decision-makers.
* Educate prospects and customers on features, benefits, and value proposition of our products as it relates to the growth and sustainability of their business.
* In-person and remote communication directly with executive-level decision-makers and influencers.
* Work closely with engineering, customer service, and manufacturing to ensure the best customer experience possible.
* Attends trade shows and conventions to represent the Hackney product line in a professional manner.
* Ability to travel as needed within your assigned territory following corporate travel policies.
* Ability to use sales tools, organize, accurately forecast territory results, provide market intelligence, implement value selling, and meet sales objections.
* Overall ownership of all sales and account management efforts within the region.
Required Experience
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent education.
* Minimum of five (5) years outside sales experience with excellent communication, negotiating, and closing skills.
* Proven track record in new business development with a hunter mentality.
Preferred Experience
* Knowledge of heavy-duty truck equipment, full service lease, or construction trade industry.
* Experience in managing independent selling and distribution channels a definite plus.
* Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving aptitude.
* Advanced sales training certifications.
* Salesforce CRM.
