Project Superintendent (Solar Construction) - Northen California: San Francisco / Sacramento
I am working with an established solar construction company who are looking to bring in a Project Superintendent to oversee their new and existing solar projects in the Northern California region.
The position would be hybrid, which would mean splitting your time working at home, in the office and attending meetings on project sites across the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento areas.
Responsibilities:
Oversee field operations on multiple projects and lead them to completion in a timely and cost-effective manner
Work closely with Foreman and Project Managers to guide them on each project
Collaborate with the Safety Manager to ensure a safe work environment is kept at all times
Oversee the start-up and pre-planning of new projects with the Project Foreman
Provide leadership and training where needed ensuring high levels of construction are maintained
Attend site meetings to discuss current and new project outlines
Keep Foreman and Project Managers up to date on any changes to the project with labor, material and equipment costs in mind
Essential Skills:
7+ Years experience within commercial or industrial construction
A background working on solar projects would be highly favorable
Must have previous experience with construction management and leading people
Electrical experience and knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Time Management Skills (Meeting Deadlines, Task Delegation, Supporting Multiple Projects)
JW (Journeyman Wireman) Electrical License is favorable but not essential
