What's happening at Entrada Therapeutics? Entrada is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company aiming to transform the lives of patients by establishing a new class of medicines that engage intracellular targets that have long been considered inaccessible.

Our Endosomal Escape Vehicle (EEV)-therapeutics are designed to enable the efficient intracellular delivery of a wide range of therapeutics into a variety of organs and tissues, resulting in an improved therapeutic index. Through this proprietary, versatile and modular approach, Entrada is advancing a robust development portfolio of RNA-, antibody- and enzyme-based programs for the potential treatment of neuromuscular, ocular, metabolic and immune mediated diseases, among others.

Our lead oligonucleotide programs are in development for the potential treatment of people living with Duchenne who are exon 44, 45 and 50 skipping amenable. We have also partnered to develop a clinical-stage program, VX-670, for myotonic dystrophy type 1.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant must be an enthusiastic builder with a solid accounting background. This position will be a contributor to multiple aspects of accounting and financial reporting and responsibilities with cross-department collaboration opportunities and visibility to management.

Responsibilities

Prepare key areas of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes, including cash, prepaid expenses, accounts payable and accrued expenses, including partnering with cross-functional business partners.

Participate in day-to-day transactional accounting activities, including cash activity and accounts payable processing.

Responsible for preparing respective sections of financial statements.

Prepare quarterly review and annual audit support and interact with external auditors.

Support the maintenance and process enhancements to our general ledger (Netsuite), P2P system (Coupa), and company master data.

Assisting with process improvements and ensuring the effectiveness of our SOX 404 controls.

Other ad hoc projects with Accounting Manager and Controller, as needed.

To thrive on our team, you will need to come with:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required, additional post-graduate degree in accounting or finance is highly preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and industry positions.

CPA, or path towards completion, is strongly preferred.

Experience within the Life Science industry a plus.

In-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and experience with technical accounting research.

Ability to be a team player with a can-do attitude and a willingness to embrace new challenges and the flexibility to adjust courses based on new findings and team inputs.

Excellent writing, presentation, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment and ability to perform at a high level through change.
