Position Summary : Seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to contribute to the accomplishment of department productivity, quality, and delivery goals by supervising staff, organizing, and monitoring workflows.
Position Title : 2nd Shift Production Supervisor (Final Drive Assembly)
Location : Uxbridge, MA
Hours: 2nd Shift 3:30pm-1am
Potential Earnings : $65,000-$75,000 (Dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities Include :
Coaching and providing technical expertise to resolve processing issues
Creates and ensures corrective actions are implemented
Insure the appropriate level of accountability for facility goals and objectives at the team leader and team member levels
Monitor and take appropriate improvement actions in a timely manner to meet production quality and quantity goals
Utilize problem solving techniques, team building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the facility key operating statistics
Conduct, lead, or implement the appropriate process audits; the audits will identify the need for appropriate containment, corrective and preventive actions, leading to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product root causes
Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications Include :
Education:
High School Diploma
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
3 years manufacturing experience with 1+ years of supervisory experience
Demonstrated hands on experience in production manufacturing environment
ISO 9000
Statistical analysis (six sigma) experience preferred
LEAN Manufacturing experience preferred
Proficient in the use of Excel and Microsoft Word
Proficient in SAP or similar ERP system
