The role
This is aFinancial Analystposition that involves broad-based responsibilities. You will work with multiple internal departments within our US office and also help to enhance the support provided to the US business from centralized services in the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
Finance analysis responsibilities Prepare monthly and quarterly Country Specialist (CS) variable compensation, enhancing the process when applicable
Support month end finance close, providing to the senior analyst month end booking & departure margin analysis
Gather margin movement explanations for monthly orderbook movements and support analysis and diagnosis
Process quarterly bonuses for the Global Travel Team (GTT)
Process insurance referral commission for CS’s
Support finance change programs including support with communication of new processes and proactively working with the relevant finance function on simplification opportunities & process improvement projects applicable to the US business
Create and prepare ad hoc finance management reports & close control reports (sales performance, margin analysis, refund analysis)
Populate charts and data needed for global management PowerPoint decks
Controllership responsibilities Process cash related transactions for the US office including allocation, travel credit processing, check cashing and posting, refunds
Support finance processes related to full and partial trip cancellations
Provide a local contact point for collection of financial information
Serve as on-the-ground liaison to US Sales and Service organization for Group Finance Shared Service function
The position will require for you to be office-based for a minimum of 4 days per week.
About you
You will be organized, detail oriented, strong attention to accuracy and completeness while managing multiple projects. You will also have the ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish work objectives.
Additional experience required: Bachelors degree or higher with finance or analytical coursework
Knowledge of sales processes and Salesforce experience would be an additional benefit
Basic knowledge of Excel
Demonstrated ability and aptitude to learn new skills
Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Organized, detail oriented, strong attention to accuracy and completeness while managing multiple projects
Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish work objectives
Desire to learn and grow in a finance organization
Enjoys a challenge and is comfortable with change
A flexible team player comfortable to take initiative and be solution focused
Strong written and oral communication skills
Approachable nature with a positive attitude
