FanDuel Group is looking for an experienced Quality Analyst with deep understanding of Agile testing in the Software Development Life Cycle. Quality at FanDuel is a community effort and as an advocate of Quality you will work with various teams to promote best practices and processes that will deliver the best experience for our customers. You will contribute to Quality by collaborating with other engineers to define and execute the software testing that suits a projects need.

You will use your experience to help define testing strategies, approaches, and coordinate a team wide approach towards Quality. Your innovation will be fostered in a culture that constantly seeks to improve and originate new ideas that aim to make software testing easier and more efficient.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**THE GAME PLAN:**

* Be an advocate for Quality through analyzing risks, test planning, test tracking, and test run results.

* Collaborate with vendors, onshore, and offshore disciplines such as Software Engineers, Quality Analysts, and Project Managers to strategize and execute best test strategies that suite a projects need.

* Use your experience in software testing to contribute to test execution and user acceptance validation in UAT & Production environments (e.g. functional, acceptance, exploratory, etc.)

* Identify areas of improvement as they relate to software quality. (e.g. process improvements, release management, opportunities for test automation and better testing techniques, etc.)

* Communicate progress to various stake holders. (e.g., engineering managers, engineers, product managers, and product owners)

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES**

* What were looking for in our next teammate:

+ Skilled in Agile testing practices and principles to thrive within a fast pace environment (e.g. Scrum or Kanban)

+ Proficient in Kiosk and hardware testing techniques to cover various test types (e.g., functional, acceptance, exploratory, black-box, white-box)

+ Knowledge of regulatory bodies and experienced with incorporating these standards as part of a test strategy.

+ Experience with testing API layer to validate test scenarios. (manual or automated calls)

+ Ability to analyze and convey quality risks for new and existing features.

+ Strong communicator with ability to break down and convey technical concepts with varying software delivery disciplines.

+ Ability to prioritize test conditions to validate acceptance criteria in a fast paced environment.
