Electrical Designer
Responsible for general design and production of Contract Documents (drawings and
specifications) for assigned projects, under the supervision and assistance of the Project
Engineer.
Project Designers will be the primary point of contact with clients applicable to their discipline
for each project and will participate in design meetings and correspondence. In addition to
production of Contract Documents it will be the responsibility of the Project Designer to carry
out or direct survey tasks, coordinate scheduled turn-in deadlines, cost estimates, review of
shop drawings and submittals, respond to RFI’s and construction issues, and oversee jobsite
construction observations. Project Designers will be expected to carry out internal design
coordination meetings to trade information and coordinate the interrelationship between the
MEP disciplines for each project. Project Designers must be able to produce their own drawings
within Autodesk Revit as they will not always have access to CAD/Revit drafter.
