RESPIRATORY CARE LEAD
to join our Respiratory Care Team!
WORK SCHEDULE
36 hours per week

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide advanced respiratory care to patients of all ages (i.e., neonates, infants, pediatric patients, and adults)
Perform specific leadership functions related to clinical practice, education, and management
Provide routine respiratory care (i.e., administration of medical gases, use of aerosol and humidification devices, administration of prescribed pharmacological agents, pulmonary hygiene, etc.).
Provide advanced respiratory care when ordered by a physician (i.e., mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, delivery of nitric oxide and inhaled epoprostenol, extracorporeal life support, etc.)
Fulfill the charge therapist role, the preceptor role for new staff members, and the role of a coach mentoring staff Respiratory Care Practitioners
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of a respiratory care program approved by the State of Washington Department of Health
AND
at least 18 months of respiratory care therapy experience OR equivalent education/experience.
Must be RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) by Washington State
