About You
We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness with co-occurring disorders. You will be part of our outpatient multi-disciplinary team comprised of Psychiatrists, Therapists, Nurses, and Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialists. You will be working with adults (18+) who are diagnosed with a chronic mental illness (ex: schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD) and other co-occurring conditions who are looking to transition to independent living settings.
You will need:
Full Vaccination against COVID-19 – CA required
To be licensed in the State of CA as a Nurse Practitioner – required
Great attitude - required
Experience working in behavioral health or in residential care – preferred

Your Responsibilities
Your role as an outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is to provide Medication Management and Support services to up to eighty (80) clients living in an enriched residential treatment environment. In this role, you will apply advanced clinical knowledge and judgement and provide the highest level of care to California’s most complex health population.
Provide an array of services at an average rate of 1.5 hours of services per client per month (average 130 hours monthly).
Meet weekly or biweekly with clients depending on goals and need
Complete clinical records and other documentation in accordance with the agency payer and regulatory requirements
Prescribe and manage patient care with a focus on maintaining stability and quality care
Implement evidence based therapeutic techniques and achieve good outcomes
Provide consultation, coordination and clinical leadership within the work team
