Group/Division

With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection products, is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist, software engineers, application development engineers, and senior product technology process engineers. The RAPID division is the world leading provider of reticle inspection solutions for the semiconductor industry. The company provides inspection solutions to both the mask shops and the semiconductor fabs to ensure that lithography yields are consistently high thus enabling cost-effective manufacturing.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Are you inquisitive, flourishes with challenge, resourceful, resilient, and enjoy problem solving? If so, you are well positioned as an aspirant to HPC Team in Reticle and Photomask Inspection Division (RAPID).

RAPID HPC Team is charted to provide pioneering High Performance Computing solutions in enabling-Image processing algorithms for Reticle/Photomask inspections in real time. As a product design engineer, you would Design and Engineer an embedded HPC Cluster which is a critical sub-system in KLA Photo Mask inspection tool. Your primary responsibilities include leading and driving efforts to prototype groundbreaking computational technologies, optimize cost, computation time and collaborate with peers to transition prototypes to production. Additional job responsibilities include qualification of the technology stack, diagnostics development, enhance monitoring and observability and support critical issues for new and legacy products.

Required Technical Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of one or more flavors of Linux: SUSE, Redhat, CentOS, Alma, Ubuntu including experience in System-D, Net boot/PXE, Linux HA.

Experience with few of listed Configuration Mgmt utilities. (Ansible, Salt, Chef, Puppet etc.)

Ability to code in Shell, Python and C and knowledge of CUDA.

Network interconnect configuration and monitoring experience (e.g., InfiniBand, Ethernet).

Experience with Server Hardware, GPUs, RAID/HBA Controllers, Storage Technologies (ZFS, Snapshots).

Have superior understanding of x86 Hardware Platform stack, and proven track record for modelling workloads and benchmark performance.

Prefer Qualifications:

Possess a strong DevOps focus: Knowledge of setting up a continuous development pipeline (Jenkins), Repository software (Git-based), Docker Containers.

Knowledge of Apache/NGINX, Setting up proxy/reverse proxy, application server routing, load balancing (HA Proxy)

Proven track record in developing visualizations using Prometheus/Grafana stack. Experience with NoSQL Databases.

Knowledge of PKI & SSL/TLS certificate management

Minimum Qualifications

PHD + 0 yrs, MS + 3 yrs, OR BS or equivalent experience + 5 yrs
